British parcel express company Yodel has launched a C2C direct parcel delivery service

PFC UK parcel delivery partner Yodel has launched a C2C parcel Direct delivery service called Yodel Direct, targeting small businesses that have sprung up during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Due to the epidemic prevention and control, people are spending more time at home, and their time at home is gradually shifting from personal interests to business development. Start-ups will benefit from the new Yodel Direct service, which will be able to ship company products across the country.

Despite a year of record growth in e-commerce, the volume of packages handled by Yodel's system remained high. In 2020, the company handled 190 million packages, up 30% from the previous year. With Yodel Direct's new service, customers can ship packages in sizes of 60x50x50cm and weighing up to 10kg. By booking a delivery time online, customers can print the label at home or get a QR code to print the label at a store.

According to PFC, as part of Yodel Direct, customers will initially be able to use two services: one is the "store to store" service, where the customer can deliver the package to the nearest Yodel Direct store and the recipient can pick it up at a Yodel Direct store near him or her; The second is a "store-to-door" service, where packages will be delivered directly from the nearest Yodel Direct store to the addressee. Once a package is collected, the sender can track the order in real time through the Yodel Direct website and receive the latest notifications about the delivery of the package.
